To support and promote festivals, fairs, events, attractions, suppliers and tourism through education, marketing and networking for the success of our members.
The Michigan Festivals and Events Association is a statewide non-profit organization serving communities, events, festivals, fairs, businesses and volunteers throughout Michigan. We promote local events, festivals and destinations and provide technical assistance, training, and education to our many members. We ourselves are not a festival, but an organization that markets and provides education to our members that include Festivals, Events, Tourism, Government Related Agencies, Main Attractions, Year-Round Fun Spots, Seasonal Fun Spots, Lodging, Students, and Vendors catering to Festivals and Events.
Our marketing efforts to promote our Members includes a statewide distributed brochure listing our Festivals, Fairs, Events and Main Attractions Members by month, an e-version Membership Directory, and Buyers’ Guide featuring MFEA Vendors that is given to all Members, and our website at www.michiganfun.com which lists all members by category and is available to the public.
For 2016, we have a partnership with the michigan.com and MLive Media Group who will be producing two separate Spring Tabloids listing all of our Festivals, Fairs, Events, Main Attractions, Fun Spots, Lodging and Tourism Colleagues.
We hold an Annual Convention each year in the fall. The Convention includes Educational Workshops, a Trade Show Marketplace and Acts & Entertainment Show. The 2016 Michigan Festivals & Events Convention will at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa Amce, MI.
