The MFEA Foundation supports and promotes educational and professional development activities for festival and event volunteers.
The Foundation's key fundraising venues are:
- The Silent Auction (held each year at the MFEA Convention)
- Donations and sponsorships
- Online Auction
- Spring Seminar
Proceeds from all of these will enable the Foundation to:
- Generate scholarships to MFEA functions
- Develop and maintain a resource library
- Continue producing low-cost, high-quality education opportunities for
Michigan's festival and event volunteers
How to support the MFEA education programs
- Gifts may be made in honor of a friend or colleague.
- Donations to the Foundation are fully tax deductible.
- Recognition is provided for all gifts unless otherwise requested. Donors are recognized in the official newsletter of MFEA which is distributed statewide. Donations to the Foundation are also recognized at the annual MFEA Convention.
- You may designate your participation in support of specific programs, if you wish. Please contact MFEA for more information.

- Enables MFEF to further its mission to promote the interests of member festivals, fairs, events and destinations through educational programs.
- Empowers the volunteers who take advantage of MFEF educational offerings.
- Supports the growth of the Michigan tourism industry.
