    An overview of the structure of the National Cherry Festival volunteer program and the classifications within it. Also cover the changes Cherry Festival organization has seen over the last few years and how they have affected the volunteer corps (both positively and negatively). The emphasis will be on the methods for recruiting and retaining volunteers of all ages, and also introduce the online registration portal.

    MFEA welcomes Sylvia Allen back to Michigan as she introduces you to sponsorship success whether your community event is small or large or in-between. Once you have determined the sponsorship process, how do you determine what to charge your sponsors? Determining the pricing will help you see the value of your sponsorship offerings so that you can develop a reasonable asking price for your sponsor’s investments.

    Sylvia will also let you know what is happening in the sponsorship world and what changes are impacting sponsor’s decisions.
